Wheels for Change

£228 could equip a child in Ethiopia with the wheelchair they need to be active, to play with friends and to go to school. In Ethiopia, Y Care International is working with a local organisation to support children and young people with disabilities, so they can access education, employment and community life – while strengthening their general wellbeing and independence. Y Care International is working together with disabled people, their families and the wider community – to help overcome the stigma and prejudice surrounding disability and to champion the rights of those affected by disabilities.

For disabled children, a wheelchair can transform their life and give them the chance to develop their God-given potential.
