Colin MacFarlane appointed to board of Y Care International
New trustee appointment
Y Care International is delighted to announce the appointment of Colin MacFarlane to its board of trustees.
Colin has an established background in youth work and advocacy, and is National Programme Manager for YMCA Scotland, running the Plusone Mentoring programme.

In March, CEO Graeme Hodge met with Colin and completed his onboarding. As part of his governance role, Colin will also serve as the representative of YMCA Scotland on the board.
We’re thrilled to welcome Colin as a trustee of Y Care International, and we look forward to working with and learning from him.

As the International Development agency of the YMCA movement, Y Care International seeks to have YMCA representation on its board, and to strengthen relationships with national movements.
The appointment followed the YMCA Scotland National Assembly in February, which included an address from Graeme Hodge about how partnership can be used as a tool for positive change across the world.
